Well hello there!!
It's been a while... but I'm still out here. Living life wild as ever with my sweet honey, my teenager and my toddler. I am still doing cookies, of course!! In addition, I'm starting to feel the crafty itch return... I think I will be doing more yarn and fabric crafts in the future as well as my cookies. Speaking of the cookies, I am making some changes. I started in November of 2019 and I dove in head first. I have spent the past 5 (almost 6) years practicing and inundating my family with birthday cookies. Moving forward I would like to do less "birthday" sets. I would love to cut them out entirely only because I absolutely hate creating that "Happy Birthday" cookie. It's my least favorite cookie in every set. There will still be "birthday" sets especially for milestone birthdays but I'd like to focus more on the artistic aspect of cookie decorating and creating. This includes flavors. I have already started playing around with flavors and I plan to continue to do so. As for me, I'm going to remain mostly the same. I will continue to create all the things and share as I go along. I have lists... miles and years long so I don't plan on running out of content anytime soon. I realize I don't post 24/7 like most of these content creators BUT my #1 top priority at this time in my life is my hubby, my kiddos and my household. My hobbies and adventures come after all my loves are taken care of and a lot of the time they intertwine.. especially with food and crafts! But Social Media is not at the top of my list. I create things because I enjoy doing so. I'd rather run my own race. Keeping up with the social media race is a race worth losing. I don't want to be in a hurry to create. I want to take my time and enjoy my crafts. Lastly, I'm creating for longevity. I'm creating with a sense of what will be left behind. I'm running Shakespeare's race. He had the right idea. That man has been gone for 500+ years and still he lives today. To be or not to be... that is still the question. In closing, thank you all for being here and sharing my adventures as they come! Life is one big adventure and there is always, always something else to learn and share. I hope you will continue to learn and grow with me! Let's finish out this summer and see where the rest of 2025 takes us. Much love as always, Amanda

Hey y'all!!
I have returned and I'm very happy to be back!! However, while I was gone some things have changed and I have to make some updates to my website. The recipes are going to disappear for a while so I can update them and honestly, make them better. I have subscribed to a new service and it is wonderful! I can create recipe cards quickly and easily and they look great! So hang in there with me as I brush the dust off from the last year or so while I was preparing for and having a baby! It may take some time especially since I have a baby now. He's very busy and requires a lot of my time but I will get updates done this year. I am back and making cookies and plan to share lots of recipes, crafts and experiments along the way! If you know me, you know I'm always into something new and having a little dude around will inpsire a lot of new ideas as does having a teenager. It is a very bright time in my life right now and I plan to share a lot of it!! Thank you all for sticking around and I hope you enjoy what is to come!! Happy 2024 Much Love Amanda Hi there!
What a shame that this is my home page--- It seems like I only update here a few times a year, but I guess this is more like the "news" page. So. Good news everyone!! (In the voice of Farnsworth from Futurama of course) I am updating some things and SURPRISE some new things have already been added. While cookies have been the focal point of my "brand" for quite a while now I actually don't plan for my website to be that specific.
I am taking a break from cookies for the month of July to catch up on other projects and a lot of things will end up on the website. I plan to add more recipes and maybe finish my Affirmation Coloring Pages those seem to remain pretty popular. So there will be some variety showing up on my website and I hope to keep it coming. I have found a serious passion for cookies and I think I'll be doing them for a long time. I will probably branch into other baking adventures as time goes on. Maybe I'll work with fondant some more or move on to molds idk. We'll have to wait and see. Well hello there!!
Welp I'm half excited and half smh with this post because this was probably the hardest easy thing I've ever done.. which is saying A LOT hahaha y'all know. So while trying to figure out Christmas themes I decided that I absolutely wanted to do Grinch themed Cocoa Bombs. These came out so good and I am very happy with them. However, it's very possible I had some kind of beginners luck or something because these were really easy for me, but the chocolate version was really hard lol I don't know if there's a reason for it I'm thinking there could be lots of reasons but I just wanted to put that out there. If you find yourself having a more difficult time don't feel bad... lol you'll figure it out. With that said let's go through my process here. Hi there!
It's almost fall YAY let the content flood in! Haha... I've been kinda slow to update things BUT I have been updating things at least. The school year is weird because of the Ronas but my kiddo is home and take this with a grain of salt because it's the first full week but I am actually happier having him at home. Hubby is work from home now so we're all kinda doing the working and schooling at home and it is pretty marvelous. I love sleeping in. I love the flexibility of time. I love the freedom. It is absolutely phenomenal. Were her last words that full first week of school haha. jkjkjk. Idk what else y'all... There will be things. All the stuff and things. Much love! Amanda Hello!
Yes I have scrapped a lot of the things. I know it's sad and all that yadda yadda. Anyway. I'm just gonna fill it up again with more things!! A lot of my old posts had watermarks from my old website on them and it's just time to transition fully since I just paid for another 5 years of website usage lol AND I have a beefy new laptop. So all the problems are solved! So far I have all my cooke art up from January until now. The last set I just did was Frozen for a birthday party. June is about to start and I have probably 5-6 sets planned for the month. Jaxon asked for cupcakes for his birthday instead of cookies so that will be my next adventure. Pokemon cupcakes. Going to make fondant toppers. After that will be Father's Day and I think there's a few other birthdays in the mix AND there's a set I've had to put off for a good long while now that I'd really like to create. I also decided to go ahead and keep the coloring pages. I made them a long time ago but I still like them and now that I have this awesome laptop I may make more of them. I also kept my planner and paper art section as I may be adding on to that in the future as well. I'm not a one trick pony here I like to do all of the things and I've done a lot of things so I'm just gonna keep those up. I know they are on my instagram and pinterest and they link back here. There's nothing worse than clicking a link looking for a process or inspiration and you get a dead link. As for the food adventures well Im starting from scratch. I have a lot of recipes to make and share and I'll have no problem filling that back up. I'd like to revisit pop tarts among other things. Anyway. That's what's up for now. Have a look around if you want. Thanks for stopping by! Much Love. Amanda |
