Sooooo much candy... you'd think Halloween would be the big candy holiday but idk Easter candy was pretty amazing.. I think I seriously almost fainted in the candle aisle.. Anyway. I made it out with plenty of jellybeans and chocolately goodies to fill up our son's Easter basket! We also splurged a big because we finally found the Trackmaster Flynn Fire Truck.. It was like a moment straight from Heaven literally... I pulled it out from behind some other box and there it was.. We've been searching for Flynn since his birthday last June so I went ahead and got it for him he is going to FREAK on Easter morning. I was also able to find some glittery eggs that had some red ones {his favorite color is red}. Red is really hard to find for Easter let me tell you.... But I'm going to hide some "golden" chocolate eggs in those and I also got a 3 pack of mini Thomas themed trains that I will hide in those. Pretty excited. I wasn't sure how we were going to make out for Easter but it's looking like we're going to have one very happy little dude. I also got things for hubby and I haha.. ;)   And in other news April is Wednesday! As for April Fool's Day eh really not my thing... I'm sure in about 10 years once Jaxon hits .. well probably even way before that since I have a boy I expect April Fool's to become a lot more prominent in the house but for now I'm going to just dodge it the best that I can... haha ;) As for the rest of April I have FINALLY. FINALLY. FINALLY. made calendars.. I made blank calendars and I made calendars based on my #CelebrateToday campaign thingy.. they are based on Days of the Year the wacky and fun national days.. I did not put them ALL on there so please double check the website and make sure to add any extra that you personally wish to celebrate!! Please click whichever or ALL you want to print! OKAY SO. What else. Ahhh yes the weekly menu. So last night we were supposed to do Spaghetti & Meatballs but by the time I got home from Walmart it was already 2pm and I was hungry so we had a sandwich and kind of munched the rest of the afternoon.. Needless to say I didn't make spaghetti last night sooo I'm making it tonight =) I've already started the sauce in the crock pot =) Speaking of eating and such.. let's check out the... Menu for the week! Monday: Spaghetti Tuesday: Steak & Cheese Taquitos {Homemade Tortillas} Wednesday: Sour Cream Chops, Rice, Broccoli & Carrots Thursday: *National PB & J Day* -Making Cookies!! Salsa Cream Cheese Chicken & Rice Friday: BBQ Chicken Pizza (Didn't get to have this last week either so I'm doin it!! lol) Saturday: Homemade Tuna Helper Sunday: Homemade Chicken Nuggets & Fries So there it is! Well this post is already much larger than expected haha.
