Woot hey pretty lady!! Haha. I had someone tell me that I looked like "a little japanese lady" ..... That never crossed my mind but ALRIGHTY THEN. lol. I slept well.. be sure to choose a headband that is comfy.. but tight enough to hold your hair at the same time.. I did take a video of the unveiling but I'm having a hard time posting it here... It was hard enough just to get it posted to my FB page.. when I uploaded it from my phone .. Windows Media Player decided it should be sideways... No idea why... but it can't be fixed. Hopefully I can find a better way in the future BUT if you wish to see the unveiling you can do so RIGHT HERE! Annnnnd since everyone {my BFF haha} was getting antsy I snapped a quick "after" photo.. please be warned... there is no filter on this one!! *gasp* LOL. So view with caution haha. So what do you think? Not too shabby after just sleeping all night haha.. In the future I will play around with the tension and sections to see what kind of different results I can get.. maybe even get enough different ones to do another post! Woot! Wouldn't that be exciting!?! LOL. Anyway. Hope you enjoyed the headband curls and if you tried them out please share your before and afters!!! Definitely a recommended quick hack if you need to go somewhere early in the AM!! Or for any new mommas who just don't have the time to spend on a fancy hair do. Hope you all have a fantastic day!! Much love all VintageModMom What is up everyone?
So has anyone tried out this headband curl trend? My BFF {positive partner woot!} was raving about it and said that it is an absolute must try!!! Apparently her daughter does them every night before school.. smart girl!! ;) *sigh* Fine BFF let's do this then. lol. So last night was hair wash night so I washed my hair.. and DRIED it. I know right.. I did actually dry my hair before wrapping it up in the headband.. I hate sleeping with my hair wet anyway and BFF said it's done dry so... alrighty then game on! So at first I tried to use one of my crochet headbands but they are mostly made for decoration and they were not up to the task.. too loose.. So I pulled out the ol'faithful.. The look is going to change depending on which way you twist your hair and how big your sections are. My sections were about an inch thick and I twisted it away from my face.. So you take a section, twist it the preferred direction and stuff it in the headband.. Not too difficult.. takes a few minutes.. the first time may take you longer.. it did for me because I said headband quality issues haha... But once I got it done it was comfortable.. I slept fine.. And the next AM:
