Hello There!!Hellllo I have A TON of holiday treats to share with you!! This post is absolutely tremendous. I made a ton of minis, place-holder snowmen cookies, cookies for Santa & the Reindeer and a bunch of cocoa bombs. We're gonna start with the minis. I only did one sketch for the minis but with the understanding that I would rotate gold and silver in each of the sets. I usually don't like doing the same designs over and over but I absolutely loved creating all these minis!! This post is kind of split into 2 sets. I did a set of goodies for My Dad & Fam which was 7 total, 3 adults and 4 kiddos. Then I did a larger set of goodies for our Christmas gathering which was 16 total, 12 adults and 4 kiddos. Well, I also made a few extras for my kiddo along the way... of course. Look at all of them! They're so awesome! All I could think about while decorating the gingerbread man was "Not the candy drop buttons!!!" haha... I love Shrek. I do think the Santa was my top favorite though. Which I guess is appropriate since the very first cookie I ever attempted to decorate was a Santa cookie. Here's the first sets: Gold and Silver. Photoshoot: Gold SetLook how cute Santa is all bagged up. Photoshoot: Silver SetPerfectly Packaged! This is the first full set that was sent to my Dad. Kind of my practice set to see how I liked my designs. I liked them a lot because... I changed nothing. I did another 3 sets of each for our large gathering! Building the SnowmenThis is the first set of Snowmen for Dad's fam. I loved them so much I decided on a whim to create them for our larger gathering. They weren't actually that time consuming so I was able to do more than I thought! Aren't they cute??? I think so. Cocoa Bombs!Ah yes. Revisiting cocoa bombs. Truth be told I was ready to end up in a puddle of tears and chocolate but you know what... I got new molds and that changed everything. I only had 2 that didn't work out and that was because I was trying to only seal one side. Both halves need to be warmed up and sealed. After that I was on a roll. They did take a long time to make but only because of drying times and I layered them twice so they wouldn't break. Lots of Christmas magic inside!! Pretty happy with these beauties. Although I think the Reindeer were the stars of the show. I may only do Reindeer next time. Those are all the treats I sent my Dad! Pretty cute all bagged and boxed up! Cocoa Bombs Part 2Once again, after test running with my Dad's goodies (haha) I decided that I was happy with my designs. So I carried them over and used the same designs for these. Just as a note, the way I filled my molds was completely ridiculous. I had 4 molds total and I did that with each of them instead of just doing one flavor/design at a time which would have been MUCH BETTER. So don't do what I did. Fill that sucker up with the same thing until you're done. Milk & Cookies for Santa, Carrots for Reindeer!I could not pass up the opportunity to make some extra cute cookies for Santa. I LOVE THEM SO MUCH. They were pretty simple and absolutely worth taking the time to do. Snowmen Part 2Here they are!! All the beautiful snowmen! At this point most of Minis, all my Cocoa Bombs and Santa's cookies are done so I'm just wrapping things up. That's it! They're all ready to be packed up and enjoyed for Christmas! Final TallyThe final tally on my treats was: 140 Minis 21 Snowmen Cookies 42 Cocoa Bombs 7 Cookies for Santa & the Reindeer That is the most treats I have ever made. Ms. Peggy's treats are a close 2nd because I did the cake, but this was definitely something new for me! I am SO HAPPY everything came out so wonderful! Extras: Behind the ScenesThank you so much for joining me!!
It was a CRAZY December so I didn't get a bunch of cool photos to end on because this was just the beginning of our Christmas journey! The treats were a HUGE HIT and I really enjoyed creating them! Happy Holidays! Much Love, Amanda
