So these were pretty fun and lookie here I got a sketch and my color palate and the cookie cutters I used. I had to improvise but I was happy enough with them.
I just used a large circle, a football for the guitar picks and the christmas stocking for both the shoes. Just had to cut them down a bit.
I was so excited and focused while doing these I almost finished them before getting pictures of the process. I would like to make some Nike's again they were fun.
Hahahahaha oooh the Yeezy.
Yeah well... I got to have a snack while decorating because I ate that ugly thing. I was kind of excited to make that one and it betrayed me so I had to eat it. The sacrifice was worth it because it was delicious and the 2nd one came out awesome. I was pretty proud of it.
Hey... I said I was proud of it...
The guitars were more of a favorite than I expected. Even moreso than the shoes. That seems to happen pretty often. The ones that go super smooth that I don't even think twice about always get surprisingly high reviews. It's just something interesting I noticed. Idk.
The do look pretty cool though. I struggled again with trying to decide whether to outline them or not. In retrospect I still don't know if I should have or not. Maybe in the future I should make a few extras and try out different options in real time.
Here they are all bagged up. I didn't get any good pictures of the larger cookies by themselves. They were all blurry. I need to pay more attention to my pictures now that I'm going to be sharing these experiences. I'm looking at the larger cookies and wishing I had actually outlined those probably with the corresponding red and orange. It's always nerve wracking though putting such vivid colors on that white surface because you really only get one shot at doing it right. I will get more brave with time I'm sure. I'm happy the lettering came out as well as it did. My brother was pretty surprised by them and that's always fun.
Thanks for stopping by!
