I don't know how I've made it this far without doing a butterfly but here's my first butterfly. The dreamcatcher is a big indication of how far my skills have come, even if they still need massive tuning. I was very excited about the thin piping I got. I am still shooting for thinner but I am very happy with how this came out. A few months ago I didn't have the skillset to create lines like that. I don't know why I photographed those 2 together but there's the start of the dreamcatcher lol I didn't want to spoil the moon and star balloons before we got here. I did watercolor (food coloring gel and vanilla extract) for the background and also details on the balloons. Looking at this now I wish I would have made the strings on the balloons darker but I'm still happy with the result. I have done a lot of birthday cake cookies and to my surprise they always come out pretty cute. Each cake is just as unique as each person I create them for so it's cool to see the same shape be used successfully over and over. The little old school music player came together pretty quick I didn't get many pictures. This set was for my bestie and we send songs back and forth pretty often and our love for music keeps a pretty large spot in our friendship so this cookie was just kinda something special between besties. Probably my favorite cookie of the bunch... the moon phases... I had so much fun making this cookie and it was so pretty. I bet it was hard to eat though lol there was a lot of frosting on that bad boy and it was a HUGE cookie lol but I love it. All bagged up and ready to go. It was a semi cloudy day with very little sun so I was lucky to get a picture this good. Thank you so much for stopping by!!
Stay tuned for more edible adventures! Much Love Amanda
