Hello! I have another hunting/nature set to share with you today! This was a Father's Day gift and it's kind of unique... As always I started by creating a sketch.. Watercolor & DetailsI don't know how entirely accurate it was for me to add flowers and rocks along the deer tracks but I wanted to add something extra and give it a nature kinda feel... I like how they came out. Also added some definition to the trees. So it looks like this picture (below) was the end of Day 1. There were parts of this set that I didn't get pics of. I used a transfer to do part of the rifle. This pond is pretty special because it happens to be an interpretation of a very specific family pond... complete with 3 ducks. The last time I made deer I used transfers and it was kind of a nightmare so I decided to paint everything first (like a sketch) and then just do my icing on top. It worked a lot better. I didn't have any breakage to deal with like last time. I did the same thing for the antlers on these. Transfers would have been a nightmare. I painted them gold with edible gold paint. And here's the set on night 2... Just gotta wait for everything to dry. photoshootI have NO IDEA how I managed to bag these up without getting a single picture of them in bags but it happened...
I will say I worked on about 5 sets all at the same time so I guess it just got lost in translation somewhere but I promise they were bagged and boxed up like always! Thanks so much for stopping by! Hope you enjoyed! Until next time... Much Love Amanda
