What's up!? I have a cute little birthday set to share with you!! My husband's Grams absolutely loves red! So I came up with this little set for her. I am definitely loving my new birthday cake cutter! It's surely getting used and it's actually pretty fun to decorate a cake that isn't a massive 3 tier cake LOL. On with the sketch!
Oooh shiny... A lot of bakers cringe at the thought of using red... it does take a while to mix but honestly I'm not a huge fan of mixing colors at all BUT it sure did come out pretty. I find if you give the colors time to develop they will show up.  This was a very fun little set to do! I decided not to go with any kind of flower or decoration on the hat since I added the little heart on the cake and I had sprinkles and everything else, so I like that I left the hat how it was. I actually think these all made it without breaking so that made me feel good. Look how cute the cake cookie looks in the window!
