D&D Birthday #Round 2

Hello and welcome!
So I have another set to share with you and it's an improvement from last year! 
I'm really enjoying recreating sets from the past because it allows me to see how much I've progressed and I just love it! 

As usual, I created a sketch to work from.
My sketches are getting more open ended and less detailed in some aspects but they're still serving me well. 

In other notes, fall has now arrived and it's crazy towns so pictures may be a bit more limited than usual but it's still pretty well documented and you could follow the process, if you wanted to.

First  things First...

I started with my potion bottles and by flooding all the bigger cookies. 
Takes a while for the flooded cookies to dry so it's best to get them out of the way first.
While they were drying I worked on the potion bottles. I used purple, blue and red icing and enhanced the colors with watercolor. I LOVE how these came out. 
​They are SO CUTE.

Now back to the flooded cookies and the treasure boxes I'm about to make out of these gift boxes hehe.

I did a watercolor background on the white flooded cookies and started the treasure boxes...
​I actually think they're called "mimic chests"...  

"Dungeon Master" Shield and candles being created...

Back to the mimic chests.. the silver really made a huge difference. 

This was probably where I stopped for the day.

Finishing processes.
I guess I didn't get a picture but the D&D Logo was a transfer. 
Everything else was interpreted and created by me using references.

Photoshoot & CloseUps

I just wanted to add this at the end so you could actually see the ones I made last year right next to the new ones I created this year.
I can definitely see the progress so that means I'm going to keep creating!!!
