Copycat Watercolor on a Cookie!

Hello and Good Day!! 
I have something different to share with you today!! 

​So this time... we're starting with a reference instead of a sketch AND this just happens to be my brothers work!

Anyway. 
I decided to do some watercolor on a cookie so come along and see how that went!

So this was my little setup... Brushes, Food Coloring (I used liquid and gel), Vanilla Extract and my Cookie and Turntable. I had the image set up on my phone because I wanted it to be roughly the same size of my cookie. 

I started off trying to get pictures with each little element added but once I started going I kinda locked in and forgot about my phone lol 
I think it's still cool to see a few process photos though. 

Here is the finished product! 
It was actually a lot of fun to do... I want to do more for sure!!
I recently just received a box of Chefmaster Edible Pens for my birthday and I kinda wanna see if I can improve this in some way but I'm also excited to just try them out in general...
So lots of cookie decorating fun to come!!!

Honestly I really shoulda had my brother do a critique on this since he does them anyway...

I think mine came out pretty good but of course with food coloring AND this being my first time... the colors are a tad off...
I also noticed once I was pretty much finished the the tree line is a little far back... and the trees are a bit too small haha...
​Besides that... it's not half bad I guess LOL
