Oreo Cookies and Cream Sugar Cookies {Recipe}

Hi there!
Don't worry I'm not going to bother you with too much fluff.
So this is the dough I used for my Father's Day sets and it came out AWESOME. Absolutely delicious and it's a little different than most recipes as mine does not contain cream cheese and instead uses vanilla creamer.

The Extras

You will need butter, sugar, flour, an egg and vanilla (I used vanilla bean paste but you can use whatever vanilla you fancy) 
​and baking powder if you want...
Besides that you will also need some Double Stuf Oreos and some Vanilla Creamer. I used just the good ol Great Value... 

I crushed my Oreos in a gallon freezer bag, which worked great but when you add the vanilla I recommend doing this in a bowl because it gets difficult to get it all out of the bag...
I ended up just cutting my bag open to get it all out so it can be done but I think mixing it in a bowl would be easier.

Regardless add the vanilla creamer to the cookies. It softens them which is great for adding them to rollout dough because a lot of times using add-ins makes your dough less stable. This also adds extra "cream" flavor.

As you can see it's just kind of speckled. There aren't huge chunks of cookie that are going to ruin the rollout process in my dough. 

The dough held up great to baking and decorating!
They were sturdy and none of them broke.
​I used them to create this Father's Day set!
​I even sent a set in the mail and they all got there just fine.
