Welcome! I have another set to share with today! A pretty big set actually.
I love how these turned out and it was fun to do something new!!
As always here's my sketch woo this one is kinda rough lol that poor deer hahaha yeah I totally used 4 sets of transfers for this set because there were so many.
Anyway go check it out before I spoil everything in the first paragraph!
These were chocolate chip and chocolate.
Idk why it was so hard to photograph but I did do a slight blue watercolor background.
You can kinda see it but it's difficult.
I just did a bad job at it hahaha oh well... if there's one thing I'm really getting good at it's improvisation... it just comes with being an artist imo you gotta be ready to go with whatever flow happens sometimes lol and sometimes you make the deers---deer whatever... too big and you gotta chose between antlers and feet....
I chose antlers...
Lucky for me this was during the HUGE snow storm that half the country was experiencing so I decided to go with a snowy look.
Would you have known that wasn't my intention if I didn't tell you??
My guess is probably not... which is fan-freaking-tastic.
I'm happy with how they came out... little deer tracks...
I used some "watercolor" to make the tracks a bit darker.
The camo cookies came out cool.
The fishys. Oh my goodness... y'all. I didn't know I could paint a bass...
Not only did a paint a bass but I really enjoyed painting the bass...
I decided to use transfers because I was making multiples of the same cookie so I kinda wanted them uniform... then I just "glued" them on and "painted" them.
They all came out a little different. I decided to use different shades of green and yellow.
Really loved these. They were so cool.
They came out fine though.
The "wooden" part of the cookie was separate icing just the deer was the transfer.
As far as the rifle... the entire thing was a transfer. I attempted to sketch them out and thought ehh maybe I can do them by hand... hahahahah no. That was a no.
I'm too much of a perfectionist... I'm okay with the transfers for these.
It was worth it. Even though they are really agonizing. Everything from waiting for them to dry, to peeling them off the parchment without breaking and then placing them correctly on wet icing... yeah it's a process, but for something like this it was worth it.
I hope you enjoyed it!
Something a little different which is normal around here lol
Thanks for visiting!
Stay tuned for more updates! I have a few recipes I'm going to be adding.
Thanks so much!
